The Second Seal of Revelation, when submitted to Deep Dream AI's text to image generator:
Revelation 6:3-4 "When the Lamb opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, “Come!” Then another horse came out, a fiery red one. Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth and to make people kill each other. To him was given a large sword."
The text was Revelation 6:3-4"When the Lamb opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, “Come!” Then another horse came out, a fiery red one. Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth and to make people kill each other. To him was given a large sword." I found that most of the images produced a version of a fiery horse. Some of the images produced a horse that looked more like a llama. An actual lamb was only represented once. I think this was combining the lamb reference. The settings were typically a desert or something approaching it. This could be the AI interpretation of the notion of taking peace from the earth. The desolation of the desert would fit decently. The sword was only clearly represented twice. This was interesting since it was referenced so clearly. I was certain most, if not all, of the images would have at least included a sword. The lamb was referenced as well, but given that it was opening a seal, it gave more room for interpretation. I have also noticed that Deep Dream seems to have a tendency to mix animals when multiple are referenced. Similarly, from experiments previous, the complete lack of a feature is not all together foreign either. In the Four Living Creatures of Ezekiel, "wings" were referenced four times in the text, however wings were rarely represented at all in the 100 iterations ran. I thought for sure I was going to get a ton of bird pictures. So, prediction of the behavior of the algorithm remains elusive, but I am enjoying it none-the-less. Stay tuned for the next five seals.
