The Wheel Within a Wheel of Ezekiel

Ezekiel 1:15-18 - Iteration 97

After doing the experiment with the Four Living Creatures from the Biblical book of Ezekiel, I wanted to try submitting the interesting description of the Wheel within a Wheel. I omitted this from the other experiment as I felt it would have caused the AI of Deep Dream to deviate too far off of the goal. I do believe that is what would have happened if I left it included.

Initial Text Prompt for iteration 1: Ezekiel 1:15-18

“As I looked at the living creatures, I saw a wheel on the ground beside each creature with its four faces. This was the appearance and structure of the wheels: They sparkled like topaz, and all four looked alike. Each appeared to be made like a wheel intersecting a wheel. As they moved, they would go in any one of the four directions the creatures faced; the wheels did not change direction as the creatures went. Their rims were high and awesome, and all four rims were full of eyes all around”

This is again taking a descriptive text that is hard for humans to depict and submitting it to the AI for attempts. These first three images are attempts by humans.

In all three of these examples the description was taken very literally. I figured that the AI would take the text very literally as well, but it seemed to stay more abstract. Most images were so similar that I did not think it would make sense to post them all or evaluate them each on their adherence to the text. So, for this round, I will just simply post the images that were the most interesting.

Since the description is so ambiguous, it is hard to say if any image comes close to the target. Looking at the images simply for appreciation of art, I found these to be the most pleasant of the results.

Other posts will likely come before my next 100 iteration experiment post, but I have already done the image generation. It is on the description of the beast of revelation.

Revelation 13:1-3 - Iteration 65

Revelation 13:1-3 - Iteration 65

"The dragon stood on the shore of the sea. And I saw a beast coming out of the sea. It had ten horns and seven heads, with ten crowns on its horns, and on each head a blasphemous name. The beast I saw resembled a leopard, but had feet like those of a bear and a mouth like that of a lion. The dragon gave the beast his power and his throne and great authority. One of the heads of the beast seemed to have had a fatal wound, but the fatal wound had been healed."
